Knowing your value in Christ

A human being’s value does not lie in themselves but in the One who died to purchase them from sin and hell. Christian self-worth begins with Christ. The Creator Himself is the only One who has the prerogative to determine our value, because only He knows how much He paid for us and the greatness He deposited within the human heart.
Psalm 49:7–9 (NIV) says:
No one can redeem the life of another
or give to God a ransom for them—
the ransom for a life is costly,
no payment is ever enough—
so that they should live on forever
and not see decay.
This brings proper perspective to our worth as daughters of the King. We are blood-bought. In a world filled with body-shaming, identity crises, and lack of self-worth, it is refreshing to return to the Bible and remind ourselves of our worth in Christ.
Sister, if you are wondering whether you are loved, wonder no more! Your Christian self-worth is rooted in the cross, not in people’s opinions. Assert your worth by living life to your fullest potential. Manifest the greatness God has deposited inside of you.
You are valuable. You are chosen. You are His. Live not by reputation or man’s opinion, but by God’s calling and eternal purpose. That is the foundation of identity in Christ and the essence of living with true self-worth as a believer.
